This gallery contains the artwork that appeared in the 2005 calendar commemorating the 45th anniversary of the
Brandon League of Fine Arts (2004)in Florida. The calendar features historic sites throughout the community and proceeds from the sale of the calendar benefited the nonprofit arts league. The group supports scholarships for young artists and children's arts classes at the Center Place Fine Arts & Civic Association in Brandon.
The 1928 bungalow at 315 N. Moon Ave. in Brandon, Florida, which has received historic landmark status.
Artist CHERYL JORGENSEN, of Valrico, was born in Trinidad and once lived in Denmark, where she began painting in oils. She switched to watercolors once she moved to Florida because they allow her to capture the beauty of her Caribbean homeland.
