Coverage of the 2010 St. Patrick's Day Biker's Bash and military tribute at
O'Brien's Irish Pub in Brandon, Fla., is available also at
Born To Ride. Created in 1995 by Ron and Debbie Galletti of Brandon, Born To Ride is a magazine and television media venue focused on "The Life and Times of Motorcylces and the People Who Ride Them."
Pictured is Charles Seeley, founder and commander of AMVETS Post 44 in Brandon, Fla. "We're here now and we're still a family," Seeley said. In an interview, Seeley said he served in Vietnam for three years and founded the post in his home because "I wanted to take care of veterans and their families." As for the military serving today: "God love them, that's all I can say. I'm going to support them as along as I can."
AMVETS Post 44 today meets at 318 Pauls Drive but, with rising rent, is looking for funds to continue that housing or to find another place to meet.
