The Brandon Youth Theatre production of Seussical, the Musical sold out its three-show run at the Barn Theatre at Winthrop. With a cast of close to 40, and a live orchestra of musicians from the First Baptist Church of Brandon, BYT raised the bar for children's community theater productions. Directed by Janet Frenkel, choreographed by Leonard Mardis, and musical directed by Jeremy Silverman. Lights and sound by Rick and Ian Faurote. On the board for BYT are Becky Morton (President), Ruth Dobler (Vice President), Sarah DiMonaco (Secretary), and Derek Morton (Treasurer).

Seussical, the Musical incorporates elements from at least 15 books written by Theodor Seuss Geisel, more commonly known as Dr. Seuss, along with many of his best-loved and most familiar characters, including The Cat in the Hat, above, played by Kelsey Morton.
