Frenzie Life Theatre returns to the Barn Theatre at Winthrop stage with the April 2009 presentation of
REEFER MADNESS, which is based on the original 1936 film that bears the same name.
REEFER MADNESS: The Musical! is written by Kevin Murphy and Dan Studney, with music by Studney and lyrics by Murphy.
The show, a "highly stylized and satirical political commentary," is further described as a "raucous musical comedy [that] takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with evil jazz music, sex and violence."
