Taylyn Olney stars as Annie in the Broadway Junior production of Annie, brought to the stage by the Children's Alliance for Summer Theatre. CAST is in residence at the Theatre Arts and Dance Alliance (TADA), at 16711 FishHawk Blvd., in Lithia, Fla.
The musical is adapted from the original show, Annie, with book by Thomas Meehan and music by Charles Strouse. Adaptation is by Martin Charnin.
The 2009 season for CAST includes The AristoCats Kids, staged in June, and the upcoming You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, with show dates July 31 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 1 at 3 p.m. Show dates for Annie Jr. are July 23 at 7 p.m., July 24 at 10:30 a.m., and July 25 and 26 at 3 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children.
