All children admitted to A Kid's Place will receive health care within 72 hours, said Diane M. Straub, M.D., M.P.H., of the University of South Florida Department of Pediatrics. Straub is both an associate professor of pediatrics and chief of the division of adolescent medicine. "We'll care for them with the same standard of excellence we strive to provide for all of our kids with a few less strikes against them. All of our children deserve a chance for a happy,healthy, productive life."
