Greater Brandon Arts Council President Kim Hall, center, said she was blown away by the attendance at the second annual Greater Brandon Arts Council's membership drive and party. "I was thrilled," said Hall, pictured with board members Walter Kuck and Lisa Rodriguez. "It far exceeded my expectations." What it tells her, Hall added, "is that Brandon is more than ready for bigger and better things in the arts."

Merle Gray with her grandaughter Taylor Black, a devotee of the arts. "I like how you can just express yourself with what you do because there's so many different arts," Taylor said. "I dance and I have so many styles."
