!["My favorite part about being the narrator in this production is that I get to be Joseph's imaginary friend," said Lindsay MacConnell. "I get to be there, but not really be there. I'm telling the story and I'm really excited because I'm living it at the same time."
MacConnell, who lives in South Tampa, said she heard about the auditions in Valrico via "six degrees of separation" -- in an online message through "a friend of a friend" who had known that it was one of MacConnell's favorite shows.
"I'ts been my favorite show [for a long time]," said MacConnell, who acted in the show twice before, once as Mrs. Potiphar and again as a member of the chorus. "It's a campy, chessy, fun musical. There's nothing profound about it. It tells a story most people know in a very innovative way that entertains. ![Daniel Romero of Seffner said he is overjoyed to be playing the role of Joseph's brother Issachar. "I enjoy sharing the stage with my [stage] brothers and the adventures we get to go on," Romero said. His favorite part of the show is "when we find out Joseph's our brother."
