St. Stephen Catholic School teacher Keri Knecht Mitchell served as the director and accompanist for the school's May 5, 2009 production of Rescue in the Night.

"I like that it's comical but accurate with the Bible," said Matthew Yeats, as King Darius, about the St. Stephen Catholic School production of Rescue in the Night. Yeats, an eighth-grader, will be graduating from St. Stephen this year, which runs through the eighth-grade. "I really bonded with a lot of people here," he said. "Everybody's family."

Wrapping up her eighth grade, and final year, at St. Stephen, Mazurek said she will miss her school. "Everybody's really nice here," said Mazurek, who plans to attend Earl Lennard High School in Ruskin.

"Working with all my friends, it was a lot of fun," said Carissa Hoffman (Herald), left, with Emily Cardella (Herald).

"I liked being able to perform. It was fun," added Emily Cardella, in the St. Stephen Catholic School production of Rescue in the Night. Cardella, who played the role of a Herald, also joined her seven castmates in chorus roles as both "the people of Babylon" and "the lions."
