Posted by TOWN JOURNALIST LINDA CHION KENNEY: Bringing "Fools" to the Barn Theatre at Winthrop marks the second performance of The Frenzie Life Theatre, which borrows its name from Pedro Calderon de la Barca, who once noted: "What is life? A frenzy." The Frenzy performed "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" at the Barn Theatre in July 2008 and, in April, brought to the stage Edges . The Frenzy was founded by Beverly and Michael Mercer; Michael serves, too, as the company's artistic director.

HANNAH KLEIN (Dee Dee): Hannah Klein is a senior at Bloomingdale Senior High School. She is the vice president of Thespian Troupe No. 4235 and a member of the Ambassadors show choir. She has beein in shows such as "Plan B," "Footloose," "Once Upon A Mattress" and many more. She is ecstatic to be a part of this awesome show. The poeople have been amazing and the cast is completely goofy and has become some of her very close friends. "Love you guys, break a leg . . .SNAPS!" She would like to thank her family, friends, Merce and Bev, the gang and Sparky Sweets for all their support. "Thank you for being here and enjoy the show. Snowballs for life!"

CLARA AMARAL (Florence) - A senior at Bloomingdale High School, Clara is happy to say that "Fools" has encouraged her to become much more involved in theatre around the community and she hopes to particiapte in more shows. She plays various instruments, including the violin, cello, bass and guitar and has been involved in the Burns Middle School and Bloomingdale High School orchestras for the past six years. She has been in the All-County orchestra for the past five years and hopes to participate in All-State this coming year. She participated in Bloomingdale's "Once Upon A Mattress" and played bass in The Frenzie's first production, "Edges." She would like to thank Pedro for always being amazing and her parents for being so supportive. "Hannah, Megan and Jaime, 'I love you guys!'" She would also like to thank Bev and Mercer for all the waters, Cokes and laughs. "Peace."

MEGAN WICKS (Millie): Megan is a sophomore at Bloomingdale High Schol. She has enjoyed being in shows such as "Jekyll & Hyde" (Lucy), "Beauty and the Beast" (Belle), "Le Miserables" (Eponine), "Aida" (Amneris), "Grease" (Rizzo), "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and various other performances. She is a member of the Ambassadors show choir at Bloomingdale High, where she also is a Crimson Doll. "It's been such an extraordinary experience doing 'Why Do Fools Fall In Love' as my first Frenzie show." She would like to give a standing ovation to her cast (Hannah, Clara and Jaime), Bev and Merce, her parents, and their wonderful stage manager, Alysia Cruz. "Thank you for all your hard work, late nights and devotion towards the show! 'I just left the living room!' 'SNAPS for everyone!!! I love you all.' "
