The Frenzie Life Theatre Stages "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" At The Barn Theatre At Winthrop
Posted by TOWN JOURNALIST LINDA CHION KENNEY: Bringing "Fools" to the Barn Theatre at Winthrop marks the second performance of The Frenzie Life Theatre, which borrows its name from Pedro Calderon de la Barca, who once noted: "What is life? A frenzy." The Frenzy performed "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" at the Barn Theatre in July 2008 and, in April, brought to the stage
Edges . The Frenzy was founded by Beverly and Michael Mercer; Michael serves, too, as the company's artistic director.
Megan Wicks, as Millie in the Frenzie Life Theatre production of "Why Do Fools Fall In Love." The four-woman show plays July 10-11 at 8 p.m. and July 12 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Barn Theatre at Winthrop, 11349 Bloomingdale Ave., Riverview, FL 33578. Tickets cost $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors and students. The show is directed by Michael Mercer, co-founder and artistic director of The Frenzie Life Theatre.
