Dick Stowers, second from the right, and Southern Funeral Care, hosted a dinner in 2008 for the Brandon High School wrestling team, which that year snapped a winning streak that under coach Russ Cozart, second from left, spanned 35 years, a world record for high school sports. To the left of Cozart is Earl Lennard, the former superintendent of Hillsborough County schools. His daughter, Catherine "Missy" Lennard-Shields will be the charter principal of the Richard A. "Dick" Stowers Elementary School, which opens for the 2009-10 school year.
